The house is located on the East Twin River overlooking a large marsh in the bend in the river. Two Rivers is nicknamed "Cool City" because on any given hot summer day, it is one of the coolest places in the nation due to the way the city juts out into Lake Michigan

Yes, Everything you'll need is available at the house. The kitchen is stocked with spices, cooking oil, pots, pans, coffee, tea, etc for your use. There is a charcoal grill (charcoal provided) outside for your use as well as lawn games and board games. There is a television for your convenience but only broadcast channels as well as a number of dvd’s for you to use. The best way to describe the experience is to imagine the original owners, the Schwartz's, have left on vacation and they left the key for you to move in and enjoy the house while they are away. Staying in the house is like stepping back in time to a simpler era and our goal is for you to experience living in the house much as the Schwartz's did.
